Printing on Arch Linux is easy and plug-and-play for the most part.

Install these packages:

• cups
• cups-browsed
• lib32-libcups
• ipp-usb
• colord
• logrotate

Enable cups in systemd:

sudo systemctl enable cups --now sudo systemctl enable cups-browsed --now

And tada! All printers will work by USB.

Also for remote printers, any printer supporting CUPS or IPP will work natively with a few configurations, including GUIs (for example, if you’re on KDE).
